TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK, CHILE:

An incredibly beautiful and remote place, Torres del Paine is a special destination. With unique mountain formations, glaciers, lake dotted landscapes all within an extremely remote national park.  A great place to explore on foot, sea kayak or horseback. With hundreds and hundreds of kilometers worth of trails, sea channels, mountain passes and glaciers, there is always more to explore. BARILOCHE AND THE LAKE DISTRICT:

With a landscape of rolling hills, crisscrossed by crystal rivers and dotted with pristine lakes, Bariloche and the lake district should not be missed. World renowned as a mountain biking and hiking area in the summer (Nov-April) and for its ski resorts in the winter (June-Sept), Bariloche has many other lesser known attractions. It's quaint towns and villages, an excellent Kayaking and Rafting area as well as an emerging region for extreme sports and mountaineering.

 Pinguiino Puerto Madryn

PUERTO MADRYN:

Few places on the globe rival Puerto Madryn and it's surroundings as a place to view sea-life. Blessed with colonies of Magellanic penguins, seals, sea lions, dolphins, Orca whales, Tonina's and of course the Southern Right whale that come by the thousands to the calm waters of Peninsula Valdez from May till December.  Also not to miss are the unique land animals such as the Grey Wolves, Guanacas (similar to llamas) and an incredible variety of birds in immense colonies.

 Tierra del Fuego

USHUAIA:

Known as Tierra del Fuego (Land of fire), or the end of the world, Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world, and its the gateway to Antarctica. But much more than this, it is a city nestled between a imposing mountain range and the Beagle channel. Dominated by wilderness and forests, the rugged beauty of Ushuaia will astonish you over and over again. Activities range from hiking the end of the world national park, riding the southernmost train, fishing its crystal waters and kayaking through the ice-flows.

 El Calafate

EL CHALTEN AND EL CALAFATE:

These two distinct areas are known for their towering glaciers constantly advancing into large lakes. What is less known is that the ice carved mountains and the sweeping Andean terrain make these areas an incredible destination for hikers. With incredible trails and routes to secret lakes and valleys, the best way for the adventurous to enjoy this hidden gem is to hike around Mt Fitz Roy or the tower peaks. If glaciers are your interest, try some ice-trekking on the Perito Moreno or Upsala Glaciers, or go Kayaking next to the towering ice-bergs formed by these.

 Salta

SALTA AND JUJUY:

Come discover a completely different landscape. The northwestern states of Salta and Jujuy are part of the high elevation flat lands known as the Altiplano. This unique Andean Culture also offers other-worldly landscapes. From the unending Salt-flats of Jujuy, to the impressive Quebrada de Huamahuaca, this little know region of Argentina might be the one that impresses you the most.  Mendoza Skiing

MENDOZA:

Known as the province of wine, Mendoza offers so much more. Besides being a great destination for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, Mendoza is also a mecca for white river rafters, mountain bikers and extreme hikers. For the very adventurous, the highest peak outside Asia, the Aconcagua, resides in Mendoza and awaits those daring enough to climb it. IGUAZU:

When Eleanore Roosevelt first saw Iguazu falls, the words "poor Niagara" escaped her lips. There are no words to describe the majestic beauty and power that this feat of nature provokes.
